Minimum Requirements:
- Qualified Electrician (Red Seal – Section 13).
- Age Group: 30 – 45, male.
- Experience past completion of trade test as an Electrician or Refrigeration Technician will be advantageous.
- Experience in the mining industry will be advatageous.
- Experience on maintenance and repairing of refrigerant air dryers.
- Experience on compressors and overhauling of compressor elements.
- Experience on Diesel machinery and equipment.
- Experience in PLC’s.
- Valid code EB driver’s license.
- Computer literate in MS Office and other related software.
- Able to identify / read parts manuals and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Must be medically fit to work in the mining and related industry.
- Must have own hand tools. (We can assist to purchase your own)
- Overtime, when required on Standby and call-outs.
- Trustworthy and able to work without supervision.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Follow detailed maintenance program on machinery and equipment. (Air compressors, Light Towers, Air Dryers and Generators).
- Full spectrum of maintenance tasks (mechanical, electrical, air dryer, cleaning, pneumatic, hydraulic, PLC, instrumentation).
- Identify and trouble shoot crucial maintenance related problems and solving there off.
- All administrative duties.
